The Shin Nippon Bujutsu Kenkyū Kai (真日本武術研究会) association was selected by the Passeport Vacances organization (Lausanne region Passeport Vacances Association) to introduce children to the art of katana handling. This association consists of volunteers who offer summer discovery activities for children aged 9 to 15, based on four themes: “Nature and Discovery,” “Culture and Games,” “Creativity and Cooking,” and “Sports and Movement.” Our association was able to introduce 12 children—boys and girls—aged 9 to 13. The children’s motivation was only challenged by the heat and humidity of the heatwave that had persisted for several weeks.
Well done and congratulations for your participation and good spirits!
Explanations are given in the shade and away from the heat before the exercises begin. Everyone is very focused.

Maximum concentration from the youngsters to grasp the technique.
Let’s try out the technique!

On pratique toutes et tous ensemble !
