1. Behavior and attitude
Each participant undertakes to follow the safety instructions in order to preserve the integrity and health of all participants. Each participant undertakes to adopt appropriate behavior, to pay particular attention to respect for the people, places and materials used, the language adopted and the interaction with everyone, including visitors. Each participant undertakes to respect the physical and moral integrity of all participants, as well as the Association and the styles taught. It is particularly recommended to monitor one’s behavior when involving the Association and the styles taught, whether during Association classes/services, or outside. Each participant agrees to refuse any discrimination based on sex, race, ethnic origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age , physical or mental disability, or any other discriminatory reason. Likewise, harassing behavior is not tolerated. Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
- Inappropriate/disrespectful verbal comments or verbal abuse;
- Hate speech;
- Deliberate intimidation;
- Deliberate physical assault;
- Tracking;
- Prolonged disruption of training and associated events;
- Sexual harassment.
The Association reserves the right to expel, temporarily ban, permanently exclude or take disciplinary measures against any member/participant whose behavior endangers the welcoming and inclusive culture, or undermines the security, well-being or integrity of others.
2. Individual responsibility
Each participant undertakes to be personally insured in Civil Liability and Accident for all risks linked to participation, or that of the family or accompanying person, in all classes/services organized by the Association. Any consequences of actions, injuries or damage are the individual responsibility of each participant.
3. Payment of contribution
Contributions must be paid no later than the first day of the month for which the contribution is due. From the 2nd day of the month, the member is late with payment. Exclusion can be pronounced at the end of the reminders. An excluded member must apply for membership again and pay the related application fees to claim membership status, whatever it may be.
3.1 Special discounts
Special discounts are granted according to agreements with the respective organizations, as well as in cases approved by the Committee.
3.2 Invoice reminders
Reminders can be sent electronically (email or social media message) or by postal mail.
- 1st reminder: The first reminder is sent – at the earliest – on the 15th day of the unpaid month. The reminder is at no additional cost, and requires payment of the contribution within 7 working days.
- 2nd reminder: The second reminder is sent – at the earliest – on the 1st day of the month following the unpaid month. The reminder is free of charge, and requires payment of the contribution within 2 working days.
- 3rd reminder: The third reminder is sent – at the earliest – on the 7th day of the month following the unpaid month. The reminder is invoiced, and requests payment of the contribution within 7 working days. The reminder clearly indicates the rules regarding the payment of the contribution and reminds that non-payment of the contribution may result in the exclusion of the member. The reminder costs are a maximum of 2 months of the member’s contributions, and are added to the amount of contributions still unpaid.
- Exclusion: an exclusion message is sent – at the earliest – on the 1st day of the 3rd month (2 months after the first deadline).
3.3 Exceptions to non-payment
Reminders and exclusions are not sent in certain cases:
- Medical reason: the cause of non-payment is due to one or more valid and proven medical reasons, and the member does not benefit from the services provided by the Association, in particular training. In this case, the payment of contributions is suspended until the member can safely participate in the classes/services of the Association.
- Temporary move to a distant location: the member has moved for professional, school, academic or personal reasons, to a location which does not reasonably allow participation in the Association’s classes/services, in particular training. The move must be temporary in nature, i.e. the return must already be planned at the time of departure.
- Others: exceptions other than those explained are discussed on a case-by-case basis by the Committee. Exception requests do not give an automatic right to suspend contributions, and must be submitted at least 30 calendar days before the exception is established. The exception to payment of the contribution is in principle for a maximum duration of 1 year. This exception may be extended upon request of the member and approval of the Committee.
