The Shin Nippon Bujutsu Kenkyū Kai (真日本武術研究会) association had the privilege of being selected to present a demonstration during their annual festival called “Saturday without Borders“. According to the information obtained, these are two festivals merged into one: the first is intended to welcome the new inhabitants of the commune of Chavornay, the second being a celebration of cultural diversity. The commune currently welcomes more than 70 nationalities.
As part of this celebration, during which the sun shone in all its brilliance, several groups were able to offer a demonstration of their arts. Our Association had the honor of opening the ball early in the afternoon. After a demonstration of Ryūshin Shōchi Ryū, including waza in the form of kata, kumitachi, and kamae, a workshop for the public was organized.
Little warm-up before the demonstration.
The local newspaper “La Région” echoed this celebration (insert at the bottom right).
A majority of children aged 10 and under participated in the workshop after the demonstration.
Students are very attentive in the presence of adults, especially parents…
and who still need their attention to get dressed.
Everything happened in a good mood and with respect. Perfect!
